A Hermetic Apotheosis
"For when the soul once knows the Author of its peace, tis filled with wondrous love, and forgetfulness of everything ill, and can no longer keep from The Good."
"Fragments from the Books of Hermes to his Son Tat" Patrizzi - Strobaeus.
vol.3 "Thrice Greatest Hermes" G.R.S Mead (1906) London. 'Excerpt. 1 Of Piety and [true] Philosophy'
Opening the 3rd volume of Meads excellent Work I come across this excerpt of Hermes talking to Tat. Telling him that when the soul knows its author of peace, tis filled with wondrous love. I think on this for a little bit, and I can see constant connections to this statement in humanity. We search for that God archetype to have something that describes our Logos and Soul. Something that represents it, and when we find it we are at peace, and it is wondrous love.
